2025 8th World Conference on Mechanical Engineering and Intelligent Manufacturing(WCMEIM 2025) Concludes Successfully in Wuhan
Charting a New Blueprint for “Intelligence-Driven, Convergence-Innovation”
[Wuhan, China] On November 29, 2025, the 2025 8th World Conference on Mechanical Engineering and Intelligent Manufacturing successfully concluded at Jianghan University. Centered on the theme “Intelligent Drive, Convergent Innovation,” the conference brought together experts, scholars, corporate representatives, and educators from multiple countries and regions worldwide. Through keynote presentations, specialized workshops, and industry-academia-research dialogues, participants engaged in in-depth discussions on cutting-edge trends and technological breakthroughs in intelligent manufacturing, injecting fresh momentum into advancing the intelligent transformation of global manufacturing.

This conference is hosted by Jianghan University and Guizhou University, organized by the school of smart manufacturing at Jianghan University and the Key Laboratory of Advanced Manufacturing Technology of the Ministry of Education at Guizhou University, and co-organized by Shanghai Institute of Technology.The event attracted scholars and corporate R&D personnel from China, Canada, Italy, Russia, Tunisia, and other global locations, fostering a vibrant academic atmosphere and lively exchanges.
The opening ceremony was chaired by Professor Xuan Liang, Vice Dean of the School of Intelligent Manufacturing at Jianghan University. Professor Jia Yongsheng, Vice President of Jianghan University, delivered the welcoming address on behalf of the organizers. He emphasized the pivotal role of intelligent manufacturing in the global transformation of the manufacturing industry and called for enhanced international scientific collaboration.



Professor Zheng H. Zhu, Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering and a professor at York University, delivered the opening address via video as Chair of the conference's Technical Committee. He highly commended the conference's international influence and academic value, expressing anticipation for the cutting-edge research presented by participating scholars.

The afternoon session featured an oral presentation track chaired by Associate Professor Zhongyuan Lai from Jianghan University. Young scholars and engineers enthusiastically showcased their research findings, fostering frequent on-site interactions and in-depth discussions. These exchanges effectively promoted academic collaboration and laid the groundwork for potential future research partnerships.
